Molly Moochers, of course,

Here's a bigger one. They like to grow around the roots of this tree.
They're still small.
I think they need to make another trip this weekend when the weather gets nicer and they've had more time to grow.
But we're anxious! They taste so good. They're our gourmet mushrooms.

Janet: I knew it was a mushroom but didn't know the name.
ReplyDeleteNo, I have never tried Molly Moochers.
ReplyDeleteNope, I've never had them. Don't think I've even seen them....I'll look for them when I'm out hiking...going to Cabwaylingo next week.
ReplyDeleteI've been away from country so long I don't know if I've seen these but I'll be looking now. Molly Moochers - cool name.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm the odd ball. I don't much care to eat them but I positively love to hunt for them. I just thought of something, maybe that's why mu Aunt always likes to take me mushroom hunting with her...I always give her my findings!
ReplyDeleteAnd here I just thought she enjoyed my company.
Believe it or not, I've never eaten one. Hunted them, plenty of times. I would really like to try one though!
ReplyDeleteJanet-I've never tried them-but would like too.
