A Bridal Shower for Charley and Jennifer.
After playing games, we ate.
Beautifully wrapped presents piled high on the table. Or is it a table? We'll find out below.
The bride centerpiece on the coffee table is the same one I placed on my gift table at my wedding reception when I was married. I found it folded up in my cedar chest. A keepsake from the past.

A throw I made for the couple with their picture ironed on a top square.
The unveiling of the special present my son Andrew made for his brother and Jennifer. It was hid under a quilt with presents piled on it.
Looks like you all had a good time, wish I had come. That cedar chest is great.
ReplyDeleteWow, Jan, you sure did that post fast. I'm glad you didn't get me in those pictures. We had a good time.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a lot of fun, from the smiles on the faces in the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThe cedar chest is beautiful!
Congratulations to the future bride and groom. A long and happy life to them both. Loved the pictures of the party and the good food. That chest is beautiful and something they will cherish for years to come. Great job! xxoo
ReplyDeleteThe couple looks so happy, Janet. My best wishes to them.
ReplyDeleteThe cedar chest is a priceless gift. I can only guess at the hours of work put into it. A family heirloom already!
What fun! That quilt is darling (more pictures can be ironed on it, can't they?) and that chest is to die for!!! Looking forward to wedding pictures soon!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very successful shower!
ReplyDeleteThat cedar chest is beautiful! Andrew did a beautiful job.
Hope we get to see some wedding pics.
Oh the cedar chest is just beautiful and so meaningful for the new couple! Loved that you used your centerpiece too.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. You know we all want one, lol.
ReplyDeleteJanet, this is a beautiful chest! I also looked at the previous post of all the wonderful pieces your son has made. He is one talented man! My daddy made a few things and my uncle was known around town for his craftsmanship; he even made fiddles!
ReplyDeleteAnd these home-crafted pieces just get more beautiful as the years go by.
