Feeding the Wildlife

My son crafted a few squirrel feeders in December.

We kept one and he gave away two as gifts.

These are very well put together feeders. But, do the squirrels appreciate it?

Maybe we should ask him?

He seems content to watch as the birds eat the corn meant for him.

Do you have a squirrel feeder?
If you do, is your squirrel confused, too?

  1. Wow! I don't have a feeder as such, just oak trees with acorns and a pecan tree.

    1. Oooh, I would love to have a pecan tree. We only have walnut and hickory nut trees in our area.

  3. How cute. I don't have a feeder, but we have few squirrels. I used to put corn out for the deer and birds, until one day I noticed rats were eating it. So I stopped feeding the animals. There's plenty of seeds for them to eat. Great pictures.

  5. I think this is great because the squirrels love to get into my bird feeders. Now I see that maybe they swap feeders. :) Great pictures of the birds.
