We had our first substantial snowfall yesterday here at the Blackberry Patch.
We are low on seeds, but I put out some before the snow set in.
This morning I also put out some peanuts for them to eat.
The wind is very brisk and our woodpecker holds on.
So does this female cardinal!
The snow on the ledge looks like clouds on the horizon.
Cute couple!
Junco sitting on his snowy mop perch.
Of course, the bluejays found the peanuts!
Did you get snow?
You got more than we did. It has been just flurries where I live and strong winds.. those little birds really fly in when it's like this.. I can't keep the feeders full either.. stay warm..Susie
ReplyDeleteNo snow here yet, but very cool today. Don't you love the little birds? They just seem to come from nowhere whenever it snows. I need to get some seeds just in case! We've had lots of robins in the yard today, scratching and flipping leaves in every direction.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures! No snow in Florida. Usually we get a bunch of robins but I haven't seen any yet.
ReplyDeleteWe are getting big fat flakes right now. it is beautiful. I love all the birds you have! Many are too smart to hang out in Wyoming.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOH, what beautiful pictures! No snow here, just blue-butt cold with a chance of flurries this afternoon. I found birdseed on sale last week and bought forty pounds...I'm good to go for a while!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures, Janet.
ReplyDeleteNo snow down here, just cold.
I can't wait for spring, for more reasons than one. LOL
Makes me cold just looking at the birds.
ReplyDeleteYep...ya want some more???
ReplyDeleteWe got six inches of the white fluffy stuff and some freezin' rain on top of that!
Love the pictures, especially that jay!
