We have these neighborhood deer who love to come and eat our grass. You see them any time of the day or night.
They will eat for a while and then they will stare at you.
They remind me of cows. Cows also love to stare.
After eating lunch, they stretch.
Then they decide to cross the road and see if the grass is greener in the other person's yard.
They love the shade trees.
They like playing hide and seek.
They also like to sit down and rest a spell after all their grazing, staring and stretching.
They are the cutest things. We love watching them every day. We never know where they will show up next. Thank goodness they stay off of Rt. 21, they just roam around our little subdivision, then they stroll back to the fields surrounding us.
Such cute little fawns!!! I'd enjoy watching them too.
ReplyDeleteThey are the cutest things Janet! I know they wouldn't get to eat, stare, stretch and lay down in my yard though. My dogs just wouldn't let them. There must not be any dogs in your area.
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing twins with their mother down the road from where I live and I love seeing them.
Hope you've been able to beat all of this heat and humidity!
They are so sweet. I would love to sit and watch them.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Janet!
ReplyDeleteI would love watching them, too.
They must feel they have found a safe area to inhabit.
Lucky for you!!!
Amazing how tame they seem!
ReplyDeleteThose photos are so unique - love the stretches they do!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable pictures! I love them. My neighborhood is overrun with bunnies right now.
