  1. I'm just a few miles north of you, and although the snow is beautiful, we don't have nearl as much as you. It's so beautiful.

  3. Hey Janet!

Don't we have just the wildest weather in West Virginia! No wonder we are called Wild and Wonderful West Virginia!

Your pictures of your snow is just beautiful! I think your snow is prettier than mine. The way it stuck to the trees is what makes it look so pretty don't it!

I finally got one picture uploaded. My new camera is a 10 mp and files are much larger than the old camera. I'm having problems uploading them. And with the weather being like it is it is making it hard for me to upload them too.

Do you have electric? Ours went off at 4:20 a.m. We have a generator so we are just fine.

    Stay Warm!

  4. I am so jealous of your winter wonderland! I hope you don't lose electricity though! In Texas we NEVER get snow like that. If we do, you can see the blades of grass sticking through and it is all gone by mid-afternoon. Does it make you want to write? It does me!!!

p.s. I'm sorry about the loss of your father-in-law. You and your family are in my prayers.

  5. Beautiful pictures, Janet. But I have to admit, it gave me a chill. Looks cold up there.

  6. Good photos of miraculous views. Thank you for letting us see them, too. Found you on Chickens in the Road and came over to see your pictures. We have some snow in Lexington, KY., but nothing like yours.

  7. It's WV beautiful isn't it! I'm glad I'm on the inside and not like those who got caught in it.
    Lovely images!

  9. Our electric went out Fri. around 11 pm and just came back on tonight. I have been freezing. We have an open fireplace, better than nothing but didn't warm the house except just in front of it. The snow is beautiful, though. I love it.

  10. Janet-thank you for showing the pictures-they are beautiful. Do you believe all I got was rain!!! Just an hour or so away they got several inches-and up too 15 inches 2 hours away. But only rain for me : ( maybe next time. I hope your power stayed on.
