Surprise Watermelon Update

Remember our surprise watermelon I posted about in September?

It was the one that came to life from spitting seeds off the front porch.
It grew and grew and became a large watermelon.
We cut it off a few days ago.

We held our breath as my husband cut into it. Would it be any good?

Not bad . Not bad at all.

We didn't grow a watermelon patch this year. We didn't have to.

We just sat on the front porch and spit.
