It really comes in handy for the over flow.
If you have a mower with a bagger attachment you could catch the grass clipping to put around the bottom of your berry vines. I use it in the garden and some of my flower bed areas. It really works well. All the flowers are coming on late, but at least everything is growing and the green fields are so lush that it takes my breath away! Thank you for sharing the spectacular photo of the apple tree in blossom. It'll be awhile before I see or smell those blossoms on my trees.Clara Gillow Clarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10204130118900222511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3635163323560816578.post-38152334553798928782011-04-23T12:20:24.164-04:002011-04-23T12:20:24.164-04:00Janet,

Its a very late spring this year.
You have been really busy. We've had way to much rain and what little gardening we've done is looking bad. You can get to much of a good thing. Just wish we could send some to Texas... Hope you have a nice Easter... I bet that will come in very handy. I had a real bad weed problem once, and we used the black weed-ex paper, and it worked fantastic, but we doubled and tripled it up in spots and covered it with redwood bark. Weeds still grew but they were on top of paper and could be easily picked off with two fingers. You do have a much larger bed than I did, so I don't know if that would work for you. I hope you find a solution to the problem. I can't wait to see pictures of this year's crop. The pictures you had a few weeks ago on the blog of the ripe berries looked heavenly. (Well, I don't know it they actually have berries in heaven, but if they do I'm sure they would look like yours!) :) DelisaDelisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00793953725620270977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3635163323560816578.post-59310392280609782822011-04-22T13:02:01.963-04:002011-04-22T13:02:01.963-04:00Used to think my favourite season was autumn, but ...Used to think my favourite season was autumn, but after the terrible winter the blossom is very welcome. :0)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07957545161716269528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3635163323560816578.post-34581813792531805462011-04-22T12:56:41.193-04:002011-04-22T12:56:41.193-04:00Send rain our way, please.
